Evans and Meyer Families
Daniel Evans took as his second wife, Catherine Kimel, who was the mother of Bernhard Kimel. Daniel Evans migrated to North Carolina (Davidson County) about 1770 where he died during the Revoluation War. Caty Kimel Evans then married Johann George Meier, Jr., after 1775.

Johanna Evans m. Christian Meyer
Johann George Meier, Jr., born 1727 in Germany, resided 1744-1770 in York Co. PA, where he married his first wife, Catherine Zerbe, in 1746 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster, PA. Johann George Meier migrated to Rowan County (now Davidson Co.) NC circa 1770. His will was probated in August, 1799.
