"In the Name of God Aman. I William McBride of the County of Surray & State of North Carolina Being Sick & Weak in body but of Perfect Mind And Memory Thanks be to God Calling to Mind the mortality of my body and knowing that It is appointed for all men once to die doe Make & ordain this my Last Will & Testament that is to say principally & first of all I Give and recommend My Soul into the hands of the almighty God that gave it & my Body to the dust to Be buryed In A Christian Buriel at the Discration of my Executors to wit My Well beloved wife KEZIA & SAMUEL MCBRIDE my son & touching such Wordly Estate Wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give Devise & dispose of the same In the following Manner & form

First I give and Bequeath to KEZIAH My dearly Beloved Wife my lands & houses With all moveable affects so long as She remains my Widow & After wards my lands to be Given to MARTAIN my son & his Heirs for Ever

ALLSO I give unto My two daughters The KEZIAH and ELIZABETH one horse & saddle each & cow and Calf each one bed & Furniture each with all their waring Appirrel

Further More I give & Bequeath to My daughter PATSY Ginnings & my two sons SAMUEL & DANIEL JANE COOK & MARY PATTERSON Five Shillings Specia Each

Furthermore After My Decece & the Discies of my Wife the Movable property remain to be Divided Betwixct My thre youngest Children MARTAIN, KEZIAH & ELIZABETH

And I do hearby utterly disallow revoke and disarul all and Everyother Former Testatment will legacies Bequeaths and Excutor By me in any wise Be forenamied willed & Bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other To Bee my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hear unto Set My Hand & Seal this 2nd day of December and In the year of our lord Eighteen Hundred and Seventeen.
