This Indenture made this 8th day of December in the year of our Lord 1790, between Abraham Little and Margaret his wife of Rowan County in the State of North Carolina of the one part, & Daniel Orrill of the County & State Aforesaid of the other part; Witnesseth that for & in Consideration of the Sum of Sixty Pounds good & lawful money of North Carolina pad by the said Daniel Orrell the Receipt & thereof if hereby Acknowledge that they the said Abraham Little & Margaret his wife Hath Granted Bargained Sold Conveyed & Confirmed unto the said Daniel Orrill his heirs & Assigns forever all that .... tenement plantation tract or parcel of land Situate lying & being in the County & State aforesaid on the Waters of Ellis's Creek Begining at a Black Oak Evan Ellis's Corner & Runing East eleven Chains & sixty eight links to a White Oak on Said Ellis's line thence North twenty five Chains and forty links to a Post Oak Bush Joseph Wolfscales line thence Along his line West twenty eight Chains and & twenty links to a Stake thence South thirty Seven chains and thirteen links to a Stake on David Hendrix Line thence East fifteen chains and forty five links to a Black Oak bush on Evan Ellis's line then North along his line to the begining, Containing in the whole One hundred Acres of Land, with the appurtenances and all Right priviledges and improvements in any wise to the same belonging to him the said Daniel Orrill his heirs and Assigns forever & they the said Abraham Little & Margaret his wife for themselves their heirs & assigns forever Doth hereby Covenant and Agree to And with Daniel Orrill that he the said Daniel Orrill his heirs and Assigns shall & may for ever hereafter Peaceably and Quietly Hold Occupy possess and injoy the before mentioned lands and Premises without the Lett Molestation of any person or persons Whatsoever & free & Clear & freely & Clearly from all manner of incumbrances Whatsoever & they the said Abraham Little and Margaret his wife for themselves their heirs Execrs. & Admrs. Doth hereby demise Covenant & agree that they the said Abraham Little and Margaret his wife their heirs Execrs. & Admrs, Shall & will at all times warrant & forever defend the said premises to the said Daniel Orrell his heirs and Assigns Against All Lawful Claims or Demands Whatsoever, whereby the Above mentioned premises might or may be affected or incumbered Contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents, In witness whereof the said Abraham Little and Margaret his wife hereunto set their hands & affixed their Seals the day and Year Above Written.
