Pfauz or Fouts Family

First Generation

Jacob Pfauz was born about 1700, and probably immigrated to Pennsylvania before 1726. He settled in Skippack PA, and is mentioned in church records at Conewago Lutheran church near Hanover PA in 1743. In 1762 he moved to North Carolina, settling in Randolph County. His wife's name was Magdalena; she died in PA prior to 1762. The name subsequently becomes Fouts or Pfouts in some branches of the family.
