WILL OF DANIEL WARD
Dated January 23, 1829 and probated Nov. 24, 1829
County of Sussex, NJ

I DANIEL WARD of the township of Wantage in the county of Sussex and state of New Jersey. Being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this for my last will and testament.

First I give to my executors and the survivors of theirs, his executors and administrators all my farms and plantations whereon I now live, and also my personal property in trust-by them to be disposed of according to the best of their judgement, and as soon as they can to advantage and when turned into money, to pay the same, or so much as may be left after paying my debts and funeral expenses, to my heirs as herein described.

Second I give and bequeath to my nephew DAVID WARD, son of EZEKIEL WARD one third of all my estate and personal, to him and his heirs forever.

Third I give and bequeath to MOSES WARD, son of MOSES WARD deceased; and to PRISCILA DECKER Pricilla Decker late PRICILLA WARD sister of MOSES WARD Moses Ward one other third to be equally divided between them of my net estate as aforesaid-to them and their heirs forever.

Fourth I give to my sister PHEOBE CLARK's children: MARY WOOD, RACHEL THOMPSON, and GRACE CLARK or their heirs and ELIZABETH RORBACK late ELIZABETH WARD and her heirs one other third of my net estate as aforesaid to be equally divided amongst them, and my will is that the share of the aforesaid one third received of ELIZABETH RORBACK be put out at interest by my executors, and the interest paid her annualy, throughout her life and at her decease to go to her heirs when they arrive at age.

Fifth I give and bequeath to Issac Ward my bay mare and a plow, which together with a note of $350 he holds against me. is to be in full of all his demands against my estate.

Sixthe I appoint SIMEON MCCOY and WILLIAM DECKER executors of this my last will and testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunder set my hand and seal this twenty third day of January in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine.
