In the Name of God Amen. The fourth day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred Twenty and six. I Mary Orrell of Dorchester County in the Province of Maryland, Widdow, being only sick & weak in Body, but of perfect mind & memory thanks be given to God, therefore calling to mind the mortality of my Body & knowing that its appointed for all Men once to dye do make & ordan this my Last Will & Testement that is to say principally & first of all, I give & recommend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it & for my Body I recommend it to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like & decent manner, at the Discretion of my Executors nothing Doubting but at the General Resurrection. I shall receive the same again by the Mighty power of God & as touching such Wordly Estate whom it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life, I give Desire and Dispose of the same in the following manner and form.

I give to my well beloved daughter Mary Orrell the Lott which my husband Jno. Orrell bought of Thomas Taylor being the Sixth lott in the Town of Cambridge to her & her heirs forever. And I likewise give to my sd. Daughter Mary Orrell my Riding Horse named Dragon Sadle & Bridle.

Item. My Will & Desire is that my two Lotts numb. Three and Four together with my dwelling house & other houses thereupon standing & being now situate in the Town of Cambridge be sold by Executors hereafter named at the best Market towards the maintaining & bringing up my three youngest children, Gladwell Orrell, Francis Orrell and Eliz. Orrell & the payments of my just debts but in case my sd. Executors hereafter named should not sale or dispose of the sd. Lotts & houses, then my Will & Desire is that my three Children, Gladwell, Francis and Eliz. Orrell to have & posses the said Two Lotts & houses in Joynt Tenancy to them & their heirs forever.

Item. I give unto my Daughter Martha Orrell a young mare I had of John Stewart and & my other side sadle & bridle.

I likewise constitute make & ordain my trusty & welbeloved friend Good. Lockerman & Thomas Nevett my only sole Executor of this my Last Will & Testament & so herebyutterly disallow revoke & disanull all & every other former Testaments Wills Legacies & Executors by me in any ways before this Time Named Willed & Bequeathed satisfying & confirming this & no other to be my Last Will and Testament for Witnesses whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal the Day & Year above written.

Come James Woolford & Mary Stewart Two of the Evidence to the Last Will & Testament of Mary Orrelll late of Dorchester County & made oath upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that they saw the within Mary Orrell Sign & Seal & Heard her publish & Declare the within Writing to be her last Will & Testament at the Time of her so Doing she was to be best ofher knowledge in perfect Sence & Memory & that the other within is Vig. John Stewart was present & signed.
