Shepherd Family of Wilkes County, NC


Reddies River Church was founded in 1798, replacing the Deep Ford Hill Church which was established in 1784. Many members of the Shepherd family were charter members of the church: John and Sarah Shepherd; Robert Shipherd; Sarah Shepherd; Stephen Shepherd, Delphy Shepherd Judd; Lucy Shepherd Pumphrey; Anna Shepherd Viars; James Shepherd.
