Huffman Family

First Generation

William Huffman (ca. 1792-?) married Mary Elizabeth Stoltz in 1815, daughter of Johann Casper Stoltz and Anna Margaretha Hauser. We believe that she died before 1842, and that he then married Martha Right (Rights? Wright?). We haven't researched his ancestors yet - can anyone help us? Was he the brother named in the will of Henry Huffman who died in 1828, and the son of Lewis Huffman whose will was dated 1813, Stokes Co. NC?

Solomon's birthdate was previously given incorrectly on this page, and was corrected on December 7, 2010. John and Jeremiah were added, since they are named in the estate records of Casper Stoltz, father of Mary Elizabeth Stoltz. Thanks to Ann Holladay for this information.
