When Elizabeth Westmoreland married Harmon Right in 1854 and moved to Tennessee, her natural son, David Washington Westmoreland remained in Stokes County, NC and then moved to Virginia. He eventually moved back to NC, but then moved again to Missouri where he died and was buried beside of his mother and his third wife in the Graniteview Cemetery in Roselle, MO.
